CUCUMBER RAITA

[A delicious yoghurt accompaniment]

INGREDIENTS

  • Whisked yoghurt [curd]                                                     500gms
  • Cucumber [peeled and grated]                                     2 medium
  • Cumin seeds [roasted and crushed]                          1tsp
  • Green chilies, chopped                                                     1tsp
  • Coriander leaves chopped                                             2tsp
  • Black pepper powder                                                       ½ tsp
  • Rock salt [sendha namrak]                                           to taste

METHOD

1- Squeeze the cucumber well.

2-Mix all the ingredients in a serving bowl except crushed cumin seeds.

3-Sprinkle crushed cumin and serve cold.
