[Vrat wali lauki ki subji]
Preparation time—5 minutes
- Lauki [bottle gourd] 500gms
- Jeera [cumin seeds] 1tsp
- Green chilies, chopped 2
- Black pepper powder 1tsp
- Sendha namak( rock salt) to taste
- Ghee 2tbs
1-Peel and cut the bottle gourd into small cubes.
2-Heat ghee in a pan, crackle cumin seeds, adds green chillies, sauté for few seconds.
3-Add lauki, salt and 2cups of water, bring it to boil and simmer until soft.
4-Mix-in pepper powder and serve with kuttu ki poori, curd and Sama ke chawal.
