LAUKI KI SUBJI

[Vrat wali lauki ki subji]

INGREDIENTS

  • Lauki [bottle gourd]                                         500gms
  • Jeera [cumin seeds]                                         1tsp
  • Green chilies, chopped                                  2
  • Black pepper powder                                      1tsp
  • Sendha namak( rock salt)                           to taste
  • Ghee                                                                          2tbs

METHOD

1-Peel and cut the bottle gourd into small cubes.

2-Heat ghee in a pan, crackle cumin seeds, adds green chillies, sauté for few seconds.

3-Add lauki, salt and 2cups of water, bring it to boil and simmer until soft.

4-Mix-in pepper powder and serve with kuttu ki poori, curd and Sama ke chawal.
