[A RICH, CREAMY CHICKEN PREPARATION COOKED WITH CRUSHED KALI MIRCH]
1-CHICKEN 800 gm
2-FRIED ONION (POWDER) 2 tabs
3-MAKHANE ¾ cup
4-POPPY SEEDS 1 tabs
5-GINGER&GARLIC PASTE 1 tabs
6-CORIANDER POWDER 2 tsp
7-GREEN CHILLY PASTE 1 tsp
8-GARAM MASALA POWDER ½ tsp
9-MACE POWDER a pinch
10-PEPPER CORN CRUSHED 1½ tsp
11-CREAM 30 ml
12-DESI GHEE 2 tabs
13-BUTTER 30 gm
14-CURD 1 cup
15-SALT to taste
1-Clean & cut chicken into 8-10 pieces, prick the chicken with fork & keep aside.
2-Soak makhane & poppy seeds together for 30 minutes& grind it to smooth paste.
3-Marinate chicken with half of the curd, ginger garlic paste, salt & keep aside for half an hour.
4-Heat desi ghee, stir fry marinated chicken add coriander powder, green chili paste, ¾ of the crushed pepper corn & salt, sauté it for few seconds.
5-Add ground paste, remaining curd stir it add 2 cups of water ,simmer it till the chicken is almost done & gravy becomes semi-thick
6-Add onion powder half of the cream, butter, garam masala & mace powder, stir it well, adjust the seasoning, and cook it for another 2-3 minutes.
7- Serve hot, garnish with cream & crushed pepper corn.
