(Cottage cheese cooked in cashew nut and fried brown onion paste gravy with crushed pepper corn)
Preparation time—25 minutes Cooking time—20 minutes
Serving—4 Category—veg.

•Paneer[cottage cheese],cut into cubes 400gm
•Brown onion ¾ cup
•Yoghurt 1½cup
•Cashew nut paste 2tbsp
•Black pepper corn[crushed] 2tsp
•Cardamoms[green] 3-4
•Cloves 3-4
•Cinnamon stick 1inch
•Bay leaf 1
•Ginger, garlic paste 1tbsp
•Green chili paste 2tsp
•Coriander powder 1tbsp
•Cumin powder 1tsp
•Garam masala 1tsp
•Coriander leaves, chopped 1tbsp
•Cream 3tbsp
•Oil 2tbsp
•Salt to taste
1-Grind brown onion with little water to a fine paste and keeps aside.
2-Heat oil in a non-stick pan, add cardamoms, cloves, cinnamon and bay leaf and sauté till fragrant.
3-Add ginger, garlic paste and sauté for a few seconds, add cashew nut paste and cook for couple of minutes.
4-Stir in whisked yoghurt ,green chilli paste ,brown onion paste and swirl ½ cup of water in the jar in which onions were ground and then add to the prepared masala and cook on medium high flame till its start boiling .
5-Add paneer, coriander powder, cumin powder and Garam masala powder .Mix well and cook for another two minutes on medium heat.
6-Now add salt and three fourth of, coriander leaves and crushed black pepper and mix well,
Continue to cook till the desired consistency. Adjust the seasoning.
8-Remove from the fire, mix in three fourth of cream.
9-Serve hot garnished with remaining cream, coriander leaves and crushed pepper
