AMLE KI CHUTNEY

Preparation and cooking time—30minutes

[Goose berry chutney, used for sandwich, pakodi and with any meal]

INGREDIENTS

  • Amla                                                                            200gms
  • Coriander leaves                                                  ½ cup
  • Ginger                                                                         ½ inch piece
  • Sugar                                                                           1tbsp
  • Roasted cumin [jeera] seeds                         1tsp
  • Green chilies                                                           2
  • Black salt                                                                  1/2tsp
  • Salt                                                                              to taste

METHOD

1-Wash and boil amla in enough water till slightly tender.

2-Remove from the fire, strain it and keep aside to cool.

3-Remove the seeds and grind it to a smooth paste with rest of the ingredients using little water.

4-Put in airtight container and store in the refrigerator
